kosh login / logout

Overview

kosh login stores server credentials locally so that kosh sync and team commands can communicate with the server. kosh logout revokes the local session token.

kosh login --server <url> --token <jwt>

Flags

--token <jwt>	JWT issued by kosh-server issue-token

Example

$ kosh login --server https://kosh.example.com --token eyJhbGciOiJI...
✓ Authenticated with kosh.example.com

Getting a token

Ask your workspace owner to run:

kosh-server issue-token --user <your-uuid> [--ttl <seconds>]

kosh logout

kosh logout

Revokes the locally stored session token. Future sync operations will require kosh login again.

Example

$ kosh logout
✓ Logged out from kosh.example.com

Notes

• The JWT is stored locally in ~/.kosh/credentials, never committed to version control.
• Token TTL is set by the server operator. Ask your owner for a token with an appropriate expiry for CI/CD.
• Running kosh logout only invalidates the local token; the server may still consider it valid until it expires.
